Alexander Klebanoff (born December 22, 1982, New York) is an American actor and filmmaker. He has received 34 Award wins and 11 nominations for the 2021 independent film THE DECIPIO, a crime thriller (which he Produced and Stars in) awarded to him by the juries of festivals worldwide and THE DECIPIO is a five-time Finalist, a six-time Semi-Finalist and seventy-one time Official Selection chosen by the juries of film festivals worldwide. The Decipio Co-Stars Sandy Mölling, a German singer, actress, television personality and member of No Angels, one of the best-selling all-female pop groups of European origin of all time. 




One of Alexander Klebanoff's 34 Award wins is the "Award of Prestige" for "Best Actor" at Vegas Movie Awards™ chosen by the jury which included Kenny Hotz, staff writer for South Park and contributor for Vice Media. Another Award win is the "Remi Award" for "Best Thriller" at Canadian Screen Awards Qualifying WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival which has awarded icons in the history of cinema their very first awards which include Steven SpielbergGeorge Lucas and Ridley Scott. Another Award win is the "Award of Merit" for "Television Pilot" at The IndieFEST Film Awards. The previous year winner was If Anything Happens I Love You (2020) executive produced by Oscar winner Laura Dern which won the Oscar at the 93rd Academy Awards (2021).

In the southeast United States, The Decipio premiered as a Finalist at the Oscar-Qualifying 2022 Peachtree International Film Festival (PVIFF) in Atlanta, Georgia chosen by the jury out of 5,000 submissions. The "2022 PVIFF Icon Award" was presented to Oscar nominee LaKeith Stanfield, the "Legendary Award" was presented to Jasmine Guy and the "Rising Star Award" was presented to Gail Bean. Past PVIFF 'Speakers and Personalities' include Oscar nominee and Primetime Emmy Award winner Chadwick Boseman (1976-2020) and Oscar nominee Ava DuVernay. PVIFF kicked off with a special pre-screening of A Dark Way Out starring Dermot Mulroney and Danny Trejo. On the West Coast United States, The Decipio premiered in Los Angeles at Marina del Rey Film Festival at Cinemark 18 and XD, in addition to Film Fest LA at Regal Cinemas L.A. LIVE/STAPLES Center.


Alexander Hirschhorn Klebanoff was born in Manhattan, New York City, New York, the son of Arthur Klebanoff, a literary agent and publishing executive, and Susan B. Hirschhorn, a development consultant and Founding Executive Director of The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). He is of Jewish, Russian, and Polish ancestry. He has one sibling, a younger brother, Jon Klebanoff. He attended Bard College in New York earning a B.A. in Art History.Bard College created the annual "Alexander Klebanoff Award for Outstanding Achievement in Art History".

He has worked in all areas of business in the artworld business, Fine Art Industry spanning a decade. He worked at Marlborough Gallery, an international art gallery where he recruited and managed emerging painters who have since achieved successful art careers. He co-curated an exhibition which featured critically acclaimed 20th Century artists which included leading British painter Francis Bacon and emerging artists which received press in The New Sun Newspaper. He worked for Elizabeth Kujawski, the art consultant and art curator to Ronald S. Lauder where he assisted with the management of The Ronald S. Lauder Collection. He worked at Christie's auction house in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Department where he he provided assistance to the entire department which included the Deputies, Vice-Chairman and Chairman Heads of the Department. He contributed art essays about the artwork which included Andy Warhol for the Christie's Sales catalogue. He founded an art consulting company and operated the company himself. The company's focus was to provide art interested people with an educational understanding of the art world which included its influential power players: gallerists, art advisors, art collectors. He led group tours of contemporary art galleries discussing the exhibited artworks, the curation of artworks, trends in the art auction world market and how to identify key emerging artists.
